In 22 hours, Ukrainians raised 250 million hryvnias to rebuild the Okhmatdyt children's hospital, which was hit by a Russian missile attack.

As reported by UNN, Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets saidthat he had held talks with UNICEF representatives the day before.

"UNICEF is ready to urgently allocate additional funding to help those children and families who were in Okhmatdyt," Lubinets said.

We are also working on the issue of restoring the hospital as soon as possible.

In addition, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal today announced the start of work to restore the Okhmatdyt children's hospital, which was damaged by shelling.

According to him, the government has already allocated UAH 100 million from the reserve fund for priority reconstruction work and plans to increase funding as soon as the reconstruction project is ready.
