In Japan - an emergency warning of an earthquake near Tokyo

An emergency earthquake warning was issued in the Tokyo area of eastern Japan with a magnitude 5 out of 7 near the epicenter north of Tokyo and a lower intensity of 2-3 in Tokyo itself, although there was no tsunami warning and no reports of injuries or damage so far.

According to the Japan Meteorological Institute, the epicenter of the earthquake should be located just north of Tokyo. There, the earthquake strength is estimated to be up to 5 out of 7 on the Japanese earthquake scale.
In Tokyo itself, it's strength 2 and 3. No tsunami warning has been issued.
It is noted that the earthquake covered an area of 50 square kilometers.
There are currently no reports of casualties or damage.
