The tremors were recorded at 04:06. According to the Institute of Hydrometeorology and Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was located five kilometers from the town of Charadže in the municipality of Nikšić at a depth of 14 kilometers.
No damage or injuries were reported. However, the institute says that the quake could have caused material damage in the epicenter of the tremors.
A large number of citizens wrote on social media that they were woken up by the earthquake.
