Police have found the newborn daughter of a murdered 27-year-old Ukrainian woman alive in Germany and detained two suspects aged 43 and 44, while the victim's 51-year-old mother remains missing.
The newborn child of a 27-year-old Ukrainian woman who was killed under still unclear circumstances in the German city of Hockenheim (Baden-Württemberg) was found alive and unharmed. Police have detained the woman's alleged killers. This was reported in a joint press release by the prosecutor's office and the Mannheim police headquarters, UNN reports .

It is noted that on the evening of March 13, two people aged 43 and 44 were detained in the Rhein-Neckar district. Police suspect that they could have killed the 27-year-old Ukrainian woman. On March 14, both were taken to a pre-trial detention center.
During the detention, a five-week-old girl was found unharmed and taken to the hospital. After comparing DNA, it became clear that she was the daughter of the murdered woman. She is now under the care of the Department of Youth Affairs,
However, the whereabouts of the victim's 51-year-old mother remain unknown. The special commission continues to search intensively and asks possible witnesses to get in touch.

On March 7, the body of a young refugee from Ukraine, previously reported missing, was found on a NATO ramp (a checkpoint for military on rivers) in Hockenheim, Germany.
The police announced that the 27-year-old woman had died as a result of external violence, and opened a murder investigation.
Later it became known that the victim's 51-year-old mother and 5-week-old daughter were missing.
