This was stated by the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko on the telethon, reports UNN.

"The tactics of using DRGs are not about creating such a "gray zone". The actions that the enemy is currently carrying out in the direction of the settlement of Novenke, Basivka and Zhuravka, using small assault groups, probably not having enough, or protecting their equipment, the enemy is not using columns of armored vehicles to storm our border now," - said the spokesman of the SBGS.
But, despite its manpower, the enemy uses small groups that it sends to the territory of Ukraine so that they can gain a foothold and actually create a "gray zone" on the territory of Ukraine, and transfer the zone of active hostilities to the territory of Ukraine
He noted that Ukrainian soldiers are inflicting damage on these groups.
"Sometimes they even use ATVs to get as quickly and as deeply as possible into the territory of Ukraine in order to gain a foothold. Such groups are also destroyed, but every day such groups try to cross our border in order to accumulate on the territory of Ukraine," added Demchenko.
