A 38-year-old woman from Odessa helped those liable for military service avoid mobilization through forged documents. During the search, 270 seals, 110 thousand dollars and gold bars were found.

A resident of Odessa, who offered men of military age services in the production of fictitious documents for crossing the border, seized fake seals, document forms, 110 thousand dollars and gold bars. This was reported by the Lviv regional prosecutor's office, writes UNN.

A 38-year-old resident of Odessa was suspected of assisting in the illegal transfer of a person across the state border of Ukraine, as well as forgery of seals and an official document (part 3 of Article 332, part 3 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, in 2024, for a monetary reward, she helped those liable for military service avoid mobilization and freely cross the state border on the basis of a forged document.

In particular, for 14 500 UAH, she produced a fictitious birth certificate of a non-existent child. This "opportunity" was announced in an ad in the Telegram messenger.

As part of the criminal proceedings, more than 270 forged seals of enterprises, institutions and organizations, forms of documents and birth certificates of children, mobile phones and computer equipment used for this production were found and seized as a result of searches. As well as almost 110 thousand dollars and gold bars weighing 2.5 kg.

The issue of choosing a preventive measure for the suspect is being resolved.
