General Staff on the situation in the frontline: occupants carried out 75 attacks, most intense in the Kurakhove sector

Russian troops conducted 75 attacks on Ukrainian positions, most actively in the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk sectors. In the Kurakhove sector, 16 combat engagements were registered, 11 of which are ongoing.
The enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 75 times. It is most active on the Kurakhove and Pokrovske directions, where it conducted almost half of all attacks. This is stated in the report of the General Staff, as of 16:00, reports UNN.
Today in the Kharkiv sector, Russian terrorists near Vovchansk and Strilecha attempted four times to conduct offensive actions, two attacks have already been repelled.
The enemy attacked our positions eight times in the Kupyansk sector. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assaults near the settlements of Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Kruhlyakivka, and Zahryzove.
In the Liman sector, enemy units continue to attack in the areas of Hrekivka, Cherneshchyna, Tverdokhlibove and Terny. Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian troops have repelled six out of seven enemy attacks in this area. Terrorists launched air strikes near Borova, Ivanivka and Dronivka.
The enemy did not conduct offensive actions in the Siversky and Kramatorsk sectors, but conducted air strikes in the areas of Kreminna and Khromivka.
As of today, two enemy attacks took place in the Toretsk sector. The enemy attacked near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. One attack has already been stopped. The aggressor's aircraft bombed the areas of Ivanopillya, Kostiantynivka and Svitlodarsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector since the beginning of the day, the occupants have already launched 14 attacks on the positions of our defenders in the areas of Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Promen, Krutyi Yar, Petrivka, Novooleksiyivka and Pustynka. The defense forces, restraining the enemy's onslaught, have already repelled half of the enemy's attacks.
The situation is the hottest today in the Kurakhove sector, where there are currently 16 combat engagements, with the invaders most actively trying to advance in the areas of Nova Illinka, Berestky, Novoselydivka, Voznesenka, Sontsivka, Novodmytrivka, Zorya, Kurakhove, Dalne, Katerynivka and Antonivka. Eleven battles are still ongoing.
In the Vremivsk sector, the invaders attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops seven times near Romanivka, Sukhi Yaly, Novodarivka and Rivne, three clashes are still ongoing. The enemy fired with NARs and CABs at the area of Velyka Novosilka.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions at the Huliaypillia and Orikhivske directions.
The enemy tried twice unsuccessfully to attack the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Prydniprovskyi sector. He launched an air strike with NARs on Olgivka.
No significant changes have been noted in other areas, the General Staff added.
