According to reports, former Supreme Court Chief Justice Vsevolod Knyazev, who was caught by border guards in the village of Solotvyno in Zakarpattia, 1 km from the Romanian border, was released after a thorough check of his documents.
It is noted that the state border services did not find any grounds for Knyazev's detention during the inspection.
Vsevolod Knyazev himself confirmed this information in a commentary to the media, emphasizing that he was on leave in accordance with the decision of the Supreme Court.
