Former Supreme Court Chief Justice Knyazev was caught 1 km from the border with Romania in Transcarpathia. This was reported by journalist Vitaliy Glagola, according to UNN.

According to the information, today at 16:40 Vsevolod Knyazev was detained by border guards in the village of Solotvyno in Zakarpattia, 1 km from the border with Romania.
According to sources, the former head of the Supreme Court was traveling in a Volkswagen car with license plate AO1794YA as a passenger.
Currently, Knyazev is being held at the Solotvyno department of the Border Guard Service. The police are establishing the purpose of his stay near the border and are checking the version of a possible intention to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine.
Recall
Knyazev lost his position as court chairman after being detained by the NABU in connection with receiving a $2.7 million bribe in May 2023. The court recently released him on bail of UAH 18 million.
