A Belarusian court sentenced Aleksandr Goncharov to 5 years in a maximum security colony for financing the Kalinowski Regiment.
In Belarus, a man was sentenced to 5 years in a strict regime colony for donating to Kalinowski's regiment, UNN reports with reference to Radio Liberty.
According to the publication, the sentence was handed down by Judge of the Minsk District Court Elena Misnik to Alexander Goncharov, who was accused under Part 2 of Article 361-3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (participation in the territory of a foreign state in an armed formation or armed conflict, military operations, recruitment or training of persons for such participation).
According to the prosecution, he sent money by bank transfer to finance the activities of the Belarusian regiment of the Armed Forces named after Kastus Kalinowski.
