FIFA has announced the imposition of sanctions on the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) for violations during the women's Olympic soccer tournament at the 2024 Paris Games.
CSA will lose six points in Group A and pay a fine of CHF 200,000.
Three CSA officials - Beverly Priestman, Joseph Lombardi and Jasmine Mander - were also suspended from football activities for one year.
The sanctions are related to the use of drones during training, which violates FIFA rules.
The decision may be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
