For the fact that today I invited the ambassador of the Russian Federation, the ambassador of Belarus and others to this event... For the fact that I gave the ambassador of Russia the opportunity to speak... we were informed by the ambassadors of the European Union that they would not come here
At the same time, he compared European diplomats to stubborn children. He stated that ambassadors should communicate.
"The duty of ambassadors is not to be stubborn, but to work. Ambassadors must communicate, they must talk. If they have such a great opportunity to meet with ambassadors of other countries, then it is their duty to be here," Fico concluded.
