Details
In a statement posted on her personal Facebook page, Emine Dzhaparova noted that she had made this decision in connection with recent events that caused her to worry about the safety of herself and her family.
Dzhaparova emphasized her decade-long efforts in favor of Ukraine, in particular within the framework of the Crimean Platform, which defined her as an enemy of the aggressor. However, she noted that she intends to continue working, but in other forms.
For the last 10 years, I have dedicated myself to serving my country and people. Because of this, I was arrested in absentia and included in Russia's sanctions list, becoming an enemy of the aggressor in the realization of my life's work - the Crimean Platform. Despite my position and circumstances, I will continue my struggle in other possible forms
In her statement, Dzhaparova also emphasized that she did not use her position for personal gain and always complied with the law. She also noted that her main priority now is to protect her family, including her three-month-old baby.
I have also decided not to stay in the MFA system and to initiate my resignation. I sent a letter of resignation to Minister Kuleba. For those who know me and can hear me: I did not break the law. I did not use my official position to pursue private interests. Now I have to protect my family and children, the youngest of whom is only 3 months old
Concluding her statement, Emine Dzhaparova expressed her gratitude for the support she receives from various people.
I am grateful to everyone who writes me words of support. I appreciate it immensely
