NPC Ukrenergo reports a 2.7% increase in electricity consumption due to the heat wave in the southern regions. The company does not predict any blackouts, but calls for economical consumption during the day.
Electricity consumption is growing due to the heat in the southern regions, and although no blackouts are expected today, it is worth consuming electricity sparingly throughout the day during the heat wave, according to NPC Ukrenergo, UNN reports.

"Due to the hot weather in the southern regions, electricity consumption continues to grow. Today, August 9, as of 9:30 a.m., the consumption level is 2.7% higher than at the same time yesterday, August 8," the company said.

Yesterday, the maximum consumption, as indicated, was recorded in the evening hours. It was 2.2% higher than the previous day.
"The application of restrictive measures is not expected today. Possible changes will be announced later," Ukrenergo said.
And they called for, if possible, to conserve electricity during the heat wave throughout the day.
