Electricity consumption in Ukraine increased by 13.3% compared to last Friday due to the beginning of the week and cloudy weather. Ukrenergo calls for economical consumption from 17:00 to 21:00.
Electricity consumption at the beginning of the week in Ukraine has increased significantly, there is a need for economical consumption in the evening hours, especially during the evening peak from 17:00 to 21:00, when you should not turn on powerful equipment at the same time, NEC "Ukrenergo" reported on Monday, UNN writes.
Electricity consumption has increased. Today, March 31, as of 9:30, its level was 13.3% higher than at the same time on the previous working day - Friday, March 28. The reasons for such significant changes are the traditional increase in energy consumption at the beginning of the working week, as well as cloudy weather throughout Ukraine, which causes low efficiency of household solar power plants
Yesterday, March 30, the daily consumption maximum, as indicated, was in the evening - 2.7% lower than the maximum of the previous Sunday. This was explained by the higher air temperature than a week ago.
Currently, the Ukrainian energy system continues to recover from Russian massive missile and drone attacks. Emergency recovery works at energy facilities are ongoing.
"Do not turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time during the evening hours of maximum consumption - from 17:00 to 21:00," the company urged.
And they indicated: the situation in the energy system may change.
