Mykhailo Drapatyi announced the start of his duties as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Major General Ihor Skybyuk has been appointed Chief of the General Staff.

Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi reported that he has assumed the duties of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes UNN.

He stated: "The Chief of the General Staff in my team will be Major General Ihor Skybiuk, former commander of the DShV. I thank the President of Ukraine for supporting this decision."
"There is difficult work ahead, so we work without loud promises, with responsibility for our decisions and respect for the people who hold the front and help Ukraine to withstand. The President of Ukraine has set clear tasks for us - to continue and strengthen offensive actions in all domains, to plan new operations in the enemy's rear, to develop the army and its technologies, to build up the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!" - emphasized Drapatyi.
