DIU identifies Russian military shelling Kharkiv and Sumy regions with Iskanders

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has identified 30 members of the command staff of the 112th Missile Brigade of the Russian Federation involved in the shelling of Sumy and Kharkiv regions. They are using Iskander missile systems to attack civilian targets.
As part of the process of identifying Russian war criminals, Ukrainian intelligence officers have identified those who are shelling Kharkiv and Sumy regions with Iskanders, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported on Thursday, UNN reports.

"Operatives and analysts of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine identified 30 members of the command staff of the 112th Missile Brigade (unit 03333) of the 1st Tank Army of the Moscow Military District of the Russian Federation who are directly involved in the rocket attacks in Sumy and Kharkiv regions. It is about the use of Iskander operational and tactical systems against Ukrainian civilians," the GUR said on Telegram.
The intelligence service noted that the Iskander missile system launches ballistic and cruise missiles at a range of more than 500 kilometers. "The Russians, in particular, attack Sumy and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine with these weapons. For example, on July 24, 2024, an Iskander-M missile hit a civilian infrastructure facility in Kharkiv," the GUR reported.
"The permanent location of the war criminals of the 112th Missile Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces is located in the city of Shuya, Ivanovo region. The brigade consists of 1 missile technical division and 3 missile divisions, which include 9 batteries with 12 Iskander launchers," the DIU noted, providing a full list of war criminals.
"We remind you that every war crime committed against Ukraine will be punished with justice," the DIU emphasized.
