Ukraine continues to build up its defense capabilities along the entire length of the border with russia and belarus. The spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, said this during a telethon, UNN reports.
The situation there has not changed much recently, but these areas have their differences. If we talk about the border with belarus, we do not notice that russia has any forces on the other side to invade our country. Unfortunately, belarus continues to support the aggressor country that unleashed a war against our country, so this direction remains threatening. Despite the fact that the situation there is fully controlled, we continue to build up and strengthen our defense capabilities in this area
He noted that the enemy continues daily shelling of the border areas from the territory of the russian federation.
This is within Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions, using a variety of weapons. Most of the attacks took place in Kharkiv and Sumy regions
He also said that enemy subversive reconnaissance groups remain active in the border regions, especially in Sumy region.
