The foreign ministers of the G7 countries expressed concern about China's provocative actions around Taiwan. They called for peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.
The foreign ministers of the "Group of Twenty" (G7) countries issued a joint statement regarding Chinese military exercises around Taiwan. This was reported by the US Department of State, informs UNN.

It is noted that the foreign ministers of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Great Britain and the USA, as well as the High Representative of the European Union, express deep concern about "China's provocative actions".
These increasingly frequent and destabilizing actions are increasing tensions in the (Taiwan) Strait and threatening global security and prosperity.
It is also indicated that the members of the G7 "and the wider international community" are interested in maintaining peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.
We oppose any unilateral actions aimed at threatening such peace and stability, including through force or coercion.
The members of the "Group of Seven", according to the statement, continue to encourage the peaceful resolution of problems through constructive dialogue by the parties.

A few days ago, the Ministry of Defense of Taiwan stated that it had recorded 59 military aircraft and 23 ships of the People's Liberation Army of China near the island. Part of the aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait, which is traditionally regarded as an unofficial border between Taiwan and mainland China.
