The Munich team defeated the Madrid side 4-3 thanks to late goals. Arsenal held Sporting to a draw and also advanced to the next round.

Munich's "Bayern" defeated Madrid's "Real" 4-3 in a spectacular match and advanced to the Champions League semi-finals on aggregate. In a parallel match, "Arsenal" passed Portuguese "Sporting". This is reported by UNN.
