20 people are killed by floods in northern Tanzania, with roads blocked and homes flooded; the president pledges support while abroad.
At least 20 people have been killed as a result of heavy rain and floods in northern Tanzania, the country's health ministry reports, UNN reports.

The death toll is expected to rise. According to local authorities, as a result of the storm, roads in the Manyara region are flooded and blocked with with stones and trees.
Footage released by the state-run TBC TV channel shows shows houses and vehicles submerged under water.
Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan, who is in Dubai for a Dubai in connection with the UN climate summit, said that the government would allocate funds to help the victims.
