Details
It is noted that in total, ARMA is preparing for sale 264 paintings by the traitor-collaborator Medvedchuk, which were arrested and transferred to the Agency by court order.
Our employees re-examined the paintings, and the tender committee created by the Agency will soon put them up for sale. All proceeds from the sale of the paintings will go to the state budget of Ukraine.
The lion's share of the paintings selected for sale are works by artists of the Transcarpathian school of painting of the 20th century. Thus, connoisseurs will have the opportunity to purchase paintings by Zolten Sholtes, Yosyp Bokshayi, Adalbert Erdelyi and Yuriy Hertz.
However, the ARMA expects to sell not only recognized works of art, but also such a painting as Medvedchuk's portrait in amber.
The agency added that the price of the paintings will be determined by experts from a team selected through ProZorro. And all the money from the sale of Medvedchuk's seized paintings will go to the country's budget.
