"Another stuffing": Budanov commented on rumors about his resignation

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, called the information about his possible dismissal "another stuffing" in order to destabilize. He also assured that he has normal working relations with President Volodymyr Zelensky. Budanov said this in a comment to BBC Ukraine, reports UNN. 

"Another stuffing, this is far from the first," Budanov commented  on the information that spread in the media this week that the president allegedly plans to replace the head of the Gur. 

"Unfortunately, these narratives were distributed in the Ukrainian information space at some point, and Russian propaganda replicated a lot. But this is not surprising – stuffing rumors and disinformation is something that is done both to destabilize the country and to destabilize the team," Budanov believes.

Answering a question about relations with the Presidential Office, Budanov assured that "this is a normal working format." "I report to the president almost daily on the situation.

Rumors about Budanov's possible dismissal began appearing in  social networks and the media in September. In October, the people's deputy from the servant of the People Party, deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on national security , defense and intelligence Yuriy Mysyagin, referring to the words of Defense Minister Rustem Umerov , statedthat the issue of replacing the head of the Gur Kirill Budanov is not discussed.

Also President Volodymyr Zelensky deniedthat he planned to dismiss the head of the Gur Budanov.

However, at the end of November , the media again reportedthat in The President's office they want to take away the chair of the head of military intelligence from Kirill Budanov, and appoint a "more loyal person to the authorities"in his place. They wrote that  attempts to dismiss Budanov May allegedly intensify in December.
