An accidental leakage of oil mixture occurred from an oil pipeline near the village of Peremoha, Okhtyrka district, Sumy region, which contaminated a 98-square-meter land plot.
An accidental leakage of oil mixture from an oil pipeline in the Okhtyrka district of Sumy region has occurred. This was reported by UNN with reference to the State Environmental Inspectorate in Sumy region.
Details
It is noted that the incident occurred on Friday, 29.03.2024, near Peremoha village, Okhtyrka district.
Specialists of the State Ecological Inspectorate in Sumy Oblast promptly visited the site and inspected the leakage site. They found signs of contamination of a 98 m2 land plot. The inspectors took soil samples, which are already being analyzed
The agency added that as of at the time of the inspection, employees of Okhtyrkanaftogaz were taking measures to eliminate the emergency spill.
