Acting Minister of Defense Yevhenii Khmara introduced the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Ihor Skybyuk, to the senior leadership of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the General Staff, writes UNN.

It is noted that Khmara thanked General Oleksandr Syrskyi and Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov for their work during a difficult time for the country.

Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi emphasized the great responsibility and challenges that lie ahead for him and the entire Ukrainian military in repelling the large-scale invasion of the russian federation.

Addressing the military, Mykhailo Drapatyi emphasized that he is aware of the responsibility he takes on during the full-scale war.

According to him, working for results requires maximum cohesion.

He named his priorities as increasing air defense capabilities for better protection of the country's airspace, developing and scaling the unmanned component, increasing the lethality of strikes against the enemy, and eliminating excessive bureaucracy.
