Aiding the Russian Federation: the prosecutor's office named the leading regions in terms of the number of crimes

In Ukraine, 486 offenses were registered in 2024 for aiding and abetting the aggressor state, and 35 cases were sent to court. This was reported to UNN journalist in response to a request from the Office of the Prosecutor General.

In total, 1,484 offenses have been registered in Ukraine in the last three years for aiding and abetting the aggressor state.

In Ukraine, in January-February of this year, 79 cases were registered under Article 111-2 - aiding and abetting the aggressor state, in total 79 were registered. One proceeding was sent to court.

In January-December 2024, 486 criminal proceedings were registered under Article 111-2 - aiding and abetting the aggressor state. 495 proceedings were registered. Of this number, 9 were closed. 35 proceedings for aiding and abetting the aggressor state were sent to court.

According to the data provided, the most criminal offenses for aiding and abetting the aggressor state in 2024 were in:

• Kyiv – 113;

• Kherson region - 66;

• Kharkiv region – 59.

At the same time, zero proceedings were sent to court in Kyiv, 10 in Kherson region, and 0 in Kharkiv region.

In 2023, 619 criminal offenses were registered for aiding and abetting the aggressor state. The following regions led in terms of the number of registered offenses:

• Kherson region – 146;

• Kharkiv region – 97;

• Kyiv – 83.

In total, 63 cases for aiding and abetting the aggressor state were sent to court.

In 2022, 379 criminal offenses were registered in Ukraine under Article 111-2 - aiding and abetting the aggressor state, in total 384 were registered. 25 proceedings were sent to court.

The following regions led in terms of registered offenses:

• Kherson region – 142;

• Kharkiv region – 106;

• Kyiv – 30.
