Amid the heat, restrictions are introduced for trucks at the border with Romania

Due to difficult weather conditions on June 29 and 30, 2026, from 12:00 to 20:00, the passage of trucks is restricted at the Krasnoilsk and Porubne checkpoints. The restrictions apply to departure from Ukraine and movement through the territory of Romania.
Ukrainians have been warned about temporary restrictions on the movement of freight transport through checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Romanian border, as reported by the State Customs Service on Monday, writes UNN.
According to information received from the Romanian side, due to adverse weather conditions, temporary restrictions will be in effect at the checkpoints "Krasnoilsk - Vicovu de Sus" and "Porubne - Siret". At least on June 29 and 30, 2026, from 12:00 to 20:00, the passage of freight vehicles in the direction of "exit from Ukraine" will not be carried out, nor will their further movement through the territory of Romania
The restrictions, as stated, apply to all freight vehicles, including empty ones, and may be adjusted depending on temperature conditions.
Drivers are asked to take this information into account when planning routes and crossing the state border.
