The Commander-in-Chief reported 548 evacuation flights in March and the implementation of ground robots. Underground stabilization points are being built to protect medics.

The top military command has taken up the resolution of problematic issues regarding the evacuation of wounded servicemen. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, on his official Telegram channel following a monthly working meeting, according to UNN.
Syrskyi stated that high-quality military medicine, proper evacuation of the wounded, and the adequate staffing and supply of medical units are essential conditions for preserving the life and health of Ukrainian military personnel.
What types of injuries Ukrainian fighters are sustaining
Syrskyi noted that currently, the most common injuries among Ukrainian fighters are shrapnel wounds resulting from FPV drone attacks.
Referring to UAVs, the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU also emphasized that the activity of enemy strike drones significantly complicates the evacuation of even lightly wounded soldiers.
Finding answers to these challenges requires flexible, sometimes extraordinary approaches, additional resources, and most importantly – persistence and coordinated work at all levels

The Commander-in-Chief reported that in March, a total of 548 evacuation missions were carried out from combat zones. For this purpose, road and rail transport, as well as helicopters, were utilized.
Separately, Syrskyi drew attention to the use of ground robotic systems. According to him, they are being increasingly deployed in combat conditions to speed up the evacuation of the wounded.
In addition, according to him, the development of a network of underground stabilization points at a safe distance from the line of contact is ongoing.
Following the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief defined further tasks in the field of military medicine. In particular, he emphasized the need for a greater number of ground robotic systems with armored capsules, as well as all-wheel drive and armored vehicles for evacuation teams.
We must better protect both our wounded and the medics who work in strike zones, saving the lives of warriors
