The restored night train service between Berlin and Paris, which was suspended in 2014 due to low demand, will start on December 11 with three weekly runs. The service is the result of cooperation between Deutsche Bahn, ÖBB, SNCF and NMBS/SNCB.

Starting December 11, the night Nightjet will run three times a week. According to Tagesschau, the trains will will depart from Berlin on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 20:18 and arrive at Gare de l'Est in Paris at 10.24 am the next day. The train stops in Halle, Erfurt, Frankfurt, and Strasbourg. From October 2024, the night train will run every day of the week.
