As of 4:00 pm, there were 117 combat clashes on the front since the beginning of the day, December 31. In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled 23 out of 30 enemy attacks. The occupiers carried out 22 assaults in the Kramatorsk direction. This is stated in the summary of the General Staff, reports UNN.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy actively tried to dislodge the positions of the Defense Forces in three areas 7 times
Today, in the Kharkiv direction, Russian occupiers stormed the defensive lines of the Ukrainian army once in the Vovchansk area.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy actively attacked the positions of our units 7 times in the areas of Lozova, Nova Kruhliakivka and Zahrizove. Ukrainian soldiers stubbornly hold the defense, six clashes are still ongoing.
Today, in the Lyman direction, the invading army carried out 16 attacks on the positions of Ukrainians near Nadiia, Pershotravneve, Zelenyi Hai, Novoyehorivka, Yampolivka, Terniv, Dibrova and in the directions of Druzhneliubivka, Cherneshchyna and Novoserhiivka. Five clashes are ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, the occupiers tried to advance three times on the positions of our troops in the areas of Bilohirivka and Hryhorivka, but were repelled.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers stormed our units 22 times in the areas of the settlements of Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Bila Hora and Predtechyne, 13 clashes are still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians tried to dislodge our units from their occupied positions near Shcherbynivka and in Toretsk, where the Defense Forces repelled five attacks. Four more attacks are still ongoing.
Since the beginning of the day in the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy has already made 30 attempts to dislodge our defenders from their occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Zelene Pole, Baranivka, Novotoretske, Promin, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, Dachenske, Zelene, Novyi Trud, Vovkove, Pishchane and Novovasylivka. The Defense Forces are holding back the pressure and have currently repelled 23 enemy attacks. The enemy's losses are being clarified.
Battles continue near the settlements of Petropavlivka, Ukrainka, Shevchenko and Kurakhove in the Kurakhiv direction. According to updated information, 9 attacks by the occupation army have been repelled today, and 5 more attacks are ongoing.
In the Vremiv direction, four clashes are ongoing, in total, the enemy attacked 7 times today near Kostiantynopilskyi, Dachnyi, Rozlyv, Velyka Novosilka and Neskuchne, in addition, the enemy carried out an air strike with a KAB on Zelene Pole.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy tried to advance towards Novoandriyivka three times, but was repelled.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders are repelling four offensive actions by the invaders.
In other directions, there are no significant changes, the General Staff noted.
