In the village of Izky, Khust district, rescuers are extinguishing a large-scale fire at a hotel complex. The report of a fire in a wooden building on the territory of one of the local resorts was received at 16:19.
42 State Emergency Service personnel and 9 units of specialized equipment are involved in fighting the fire. The situation was complicated by the structural features of the building and weather conditions — strong winds contributed to the rapid spread of flames through the wooden elements of the hotel.
Additional difficulties for the firefighters were created by the high fire load and the lack of fire water supply sources at the facility.
Despite the difficult conditions, the fire was localized at 19:10. The area of the fire at the time the spread was stopped was 1,000 square meters. Measures for complete liquidation are currently underway
