Due to a fire at an enterprise in Rivne region, local atmospheric air pollution was recorded, UNN reports citing the Rivne Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Specialists from the Rivne Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention monitored atmospheric air quality in connection with a fire that broke out on the premises of one of the enterprises in Dubno district.

According to the results of the laboratory tests conducted, atmospheric air pollution is local in nature—in the village of Varkovychi, increased concentrations of certain pollutants were recorded; however, the levels are not critical

Specialists also measured atmospheric air quality in the settlements located near the site of the fire: Ozeriany, Molodizhne, Zdovbytsia, Mizoch, and Velyka Omeliana.

According to the results of the tests, concentrations of harmful substances in these settlements do not exceed the permissible maximum levels.

Atmospheric air quality in the regional center is also satisfactory. If the indicators change or new results are obtained, additional information will be provided.
