A double-decker bus from Germany will go to Kiev

Kiev received an inclusive double-decker bus for excursions from Berlin. The transport will be used for social excursions and rehabilitation projects for the military and their families.

Kiev received a double-decker city bus adapted for people with disabilities from Berlin. It will be launched as an excursion route. This is reported by The Kiev city council, reports UNN.  

Starting next year, it is planned to use it for conducting social excursions in Kiev, rehabilitation projects for military personnel and their families, and inclusive excursions.

"The German side handed over an inclusive excursion bus to Kiev within the framework of cooperation between the tourism and Promotion Department KCSA, the state agency for tourism development of Ukraine and Berlin Tourismus & Kongress GmbH (VisitBerlin). Next year, the bus adapted for people with disabilities will be used for social excursions in Kiev, rehabilitation projects for military personnel and their families, and inclusive excursions. Thank you to our partners for their support and assistance",

Vitali Klitschko said.

He also recalled that before that, Kiev received 4 sightseeing buses from Berlin. They will be retrofitted and will also be launched on sightseeing routes next year, which will be determined by the KCSA tourism and Promotion Department.

In total, during the full-scale war, international partners provided Kiev with more than 100 passenger buses. Most of them operate on the routes of the capital.

Earlier, UNN reported that The Kiev region purchased 42 school buses to transport children to educational institutions. The buses were purchased under the state program" made in Ukraine " and distributed among 11 communities of the region.
