153 combat engagements took place on the frontline yesterday, most of them in the Pokrovsk sector, and the enemy was also active in the Kurakhove and Vremivsk sectors, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a summary as of 8 a.m. on November 21, UNN reports.

According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched one missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using one missile, as well as 83 air strikes, and dropped 138 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out more than four thousand attacks, 92 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 1,380 kamikaze drones to attack.

Twelve strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel and weapons and equipment were carried out by missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces over the past day, in addition, the enemy's command center and field ammunition depot were hit.

According to the General Staff, the situation is as follows:

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy conducted four unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Vovchansk and Starytsia.

The number of combat engagements in the Kupyansk sector reached seven over the last day. Defense forces repelled the occupants' attacks in the areas of Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Kucherivka, Kruhlyakivka and Zelenyi Hai.

On the Lyman direction, our troops stopped ten enemy attacks. The invaders concentrated their main efforts in the areas of Cherneshchyna, Zarichne, Hryhorivka, Serebryanka and Terny.

In the Siversk and Kramatorsk directions, the enemy did not conduct any assault or offensive actions, however, they conducted air strikes in the areas of Siversk, Chasiv Yar and Lypivka.

The enemy actively used bomber aircraft to try to advance seven times in the area of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.

Thirty-four attacks were repelled by our troops in the Pokrovsk sector over the last day. The enemy tried to advance near the settlements of Myroliubivka, Pustynka, Promin, Krutyi Yar, Krasny Yar, Liskivka, Yurivka, Zhovte, Petrivka, Dachenske, Novooleksiivka, Hryhorivka and Pushkine.

The defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in the Kurakhove direction. In the areas of Berestky, Zorya, Sontsivka, Maksymilianivka, Katerynivka, Yelyzavetivka and Antonivka, the occupants tried to break through Ukrainian defenses 29 times.

The same number of enemy attacks were stopped by our defenders in the area of Trudove, Kostiantynopol, Rozdolne, Velyka Novosilka and Novodarivka on the Vremivsky direction.

In the Orikhiv and Huliaypilsky sectors, the enemy did not conduct any active operations yesterday.

On the Prydniprovsky direction, our soldiers repelled six attacks by Russian invaders on the positions of Ukrainian troops.

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged.

No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, conducts reconnaissance activities and artillery shelling.

"The Ukrainian defense forces continue to conduct operations in the Kursk sector, where the enemy conducted 25 air strikes over the past day, using 39 guided missiles," the General Staff said.
