Over the past day, 226 combat engagements were recorded on the front, which is more than the day before. The highest activity was observed in the Pokrovsk direction, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 81 attacks.
Since the beginning of the day, 124 combat engagements have taken place at the front, with the enemy exerting the most pressure in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy was also more active in the Lyman direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported as of 4:00 PM on November 12.
On November 8, 196 combat engagements were recorded on the front, of which 73 attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsk direction. The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to inflict significant losses on the occupiers in manpower and equipment.

Artillerymen of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign for the first time captured a saboteur who was supposed to lead Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups to Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. This thwarted the occupiers' plans to accumulate forces in the city.
On October 25, 101 combat engagements took place at the front, of which 39 attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsk direction. Border settlements of Sumy region were shelled from the territory of the Russian Federation.

Donetsk region is de-energized due to a targeted strike by Russian troops on energy infrastructure. Specialists are working on restoration, but the timelines are currently unknown.
Russian troops attacked Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Oblast, with aerial bombs, killing two men aged 49 and 56, and injuring five people. Nine private houses and a church were damaged. A 2-year-old boy, whose father and grandfather were injured, was evacuated to Kramatorsk.

On Defenders' Day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the title of hero cities to 16 cities. This took place in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
