Zelenskyy to visit Estonia and participate in the Nordic-Baltic Eight summit

The President of Ukraine will hold talks with the Estonian leadership and participate in the NB8 summit. The parties will discuss defense, European integration, and new sanctions.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska will visit Estonia on June 10. The Head of State will hold talks with President Alar Karis and Prime Minister Kristen Michal, and will also participate in the Nordic-Baltic Cooperation (NB8) summit. During the meetings, the parties will discuss bilateral cooperation, the development of the defense industry, Ukraine's European integration, NATO membership issues, European security, Russia's accountability for aggression and war crimes, the return of deported Ukrainian children, and increasing sanctions pressure on Moscow.
Ukraine has borne an extremely heavy burden in protecting European security and has demonstrated courage and resilience that deserve the support of the entire democratic world. Support for Ukraine will remain among the priorities
According to Prime Minister Kristen Michal, the Nordic and Baltic countries remain among Ukraine's most consistent partners since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. The total volume of support from NB8 countries has exceeded 42 billion euros.

As part of the visit, events involving Olena Zelenska and Estonian First Lady Sirje Karis will also take place. In particular, the parties will participate in the signing of memoranda of cooperation between Estonian universities and the Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies.
Traffic restrictions will be in effect in Tallinn
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha will also arrive in Estonia to hold talks with his Estonian counterpart Margus Tsahkna. Additionally, an inauguration ceremony for honorary consuls of Ukraine in Estonia is planned.
Due to the visit of the Ukrainian delegation, enhanced traffic restrictions will be in effect in the center of Tallinn throughout the day. The police have urged residents and visitors to avoid traveling through central districts if possible and to plan their routes in advance.
