"We understand that Putin is rarely presented with completely truthful information without embellishment. But even what he sees in the documents that reach him still allows for conclusions to be drawn. In particular, the so-called forecast indicators of Russians' dissatisfaction with Putin will continue to grow steadily, and he is already being accustomed to the idea of rising discontent and the increasing display of dissatisfaction as Russia approaches its scheduled parliamentary elections," he noted.
Regarding the support rating of the Russian ruling party, a steady downward trend is being recorded, which implies the need for significantly greater falsifications. Reports also indicate a substantial increase in protest sentiments across Russian regions.
"The entirely justified pressure on Russia for this war will continue and increase, and not just our pressure. Therefore, by September, Putin will emerge with even worse indicators. Unfortunately, to all public and non-public proposals from the world made by us, only words about continuing his war were heard. The internal Russian situation is such that it is impossible to agree on a dignified peace. Obviously, the trends will not change, and over time this may mean that an agreement will have to be made with someone else from Russia—someone who will not shut themselves off from reality," he concluded.
