Zelenskyy: I think it will be very difficult for us until September
Kyiv • UNN
The President expects increased pressure on Ukraine and the battlefield until the end of summer. American partners will have an internal deadline due to electoral processes.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that there could be a difficult period until September, and that he believes Americans will not give anyone more time regarding this dialogue, amid preparations for elections, writes UNN.
If Russia chooses the path of de-escalation, then I believe that a trilateral meeting will take place. And they will try to hold it in April, May, or June. I think these are key months for them. And I think it will be very difficult for us until September. In my opinion, Americans will not give anyone more time regarding this dialogue.
According to him, "the US will delve even deeper into internal processes – into elections – with the beginning of summer." "And I think they have a kind of internal political deadline – approximately August. That is, this spring-summer period will be quite difficult politically, diplomatically. There may be pressure on Ukraine. And it will also be on the battlefield. But we understand Ukraine's national interests and what can guarantee security," Zelenskyy pointed out.
"It is important that during this period there is enough pressure on the Russian Federation as well. For example, partners can hold an absolutely unprecedented, historic, pivotal, and in a certain sense victorious NATO summit this year. But it depends on them – what they are really ready for and whether they are responsible for the threats that are not against one person, but against everyone," the President pointed out.
