President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Danish Defense Minister Jeppe Bruus. The parties discussed preparations for signing the Drone Deal agreement and a new military aid package.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Danish Minister of Defence Jeppe Bruus, during which the parties discussed preparations for signing the Drone Deal agreement, a new military aid package, and cooperation in the field of anti-ballistic defense, UNN reports citing the website of the President of Ukraine.

During the meeting, which was Jeppe Bruus's first visit to Ukraine after his appointment, Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Denmark for its unwavering support of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. The head of state noted Copenhagen's financial assistance, the development of the "Danish model" of support for the Ukrainian defense industry, and Denmark's contribution to the Czech initiative on ammunition supply.
The President reported that the Ukrainian and Danish teams have almost completed preparations for the large-scale Drone Deal agreement.
"Now we talked about a big deal – the Drone Deal. I know that our teams have worked on it, and it is almost ready. I hope that in the near future we will have the opportunity to sign this document,"
The President's press service noted that Ukraine and Denmark share a common position on the need to conclude the Drone Deal as soon as possible.
In addition, the parties discussed preparations for the already 30th military aid package for Ukraine, and also separately focused on developing cooperation to strengthen European anti-ballistic capabilities.
The Danish Minister of Defence assured that the country's new government will continue to pursue a policy of strong support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
