President Zelenskyy accepted credentials from the new ambassadors of Poland, Australia, Thailand, Ghana and Uganda, discussing cooperation in various areas, including defense, Euro-Atlantic integration and preparations for the Global Peace Summit.

Today, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accepted credentials from Ambassador of Poland to Ukraine Jaroslaw Guza, Ambassador of Australia to Ukraine Paul Lehmann, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Ukraine Urasa Mongkolnawin, Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to Ukraine Francisca Ashiti-Odunton and Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to Ukraine Stephen Mubiru.

The ceremony took place in Kyiv on the territory of the St. Sophia of Kyiv National Reserve.

In his greeting address to the new Ambassador of Poland, the President expressed gratitude to the Polish people for supporting Ukraine during the war and emphasized the importance of further cooperation in various spheres, particularly in defense and Euro-Atlantic integration. The parties also discussed the preparation and holding of the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland. In addition, Zelenskyy drew attention to the importance of preparing a bilateral security agreement and called for the unblocking of the Ukrainian-Polish border.

During the conversation with the Ambassador of Australia, the Head of State expressed gratitude for the support of the Ukrainian nation since the beginning of the full-scale war, especially the military one. The parties also discussed prospects of further cooperation in the defense sector and Australia's participation in the Global Peace Summit.

The conversation with the Thai Ambassador was aimed at emphasizing the importance of developing friendly relations and Thailand's support for Ukraine's sovereignty. Zelenskyy noted the humanitarian assistance provided by Thailand and invited the country to join the inaugural Global Peace Summit.

In his address to the Ambassador of Ghana, Zelenskyy thanked him for supporting Ukraine at various international platforms, including the adoption of important UN General Assembly resolutions. In addition, considerable attention was focused on the quest to prepare for the inaugural Global Peace Summit in Switzerland and the participation of the Republic of Ghana in the implementation of the Peace Formula.

The conversation with the Ambassador of Uganda focused on the prospects for cooperation in the areas of digitalization, information technology, and education, as well as Uganda's participation in the Global Peace Summit.
