Zelensky: Ukraine sent 500 tons of Ukrainian flour to Syria

As part of the Grain from Ukraine program, 500 tons of wheat flour were shipped to Syria. The aid will reach 33,250 families, and each family will be able to feed itself for a month with a 15-kilogram package.
Ukraine has sent 500 tons of wheat flour to Syria as part of the "Grain from Ukraine" program, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Friday, UNN reports .

He said 33,250 families, or 167,000 people, will receive the flour in the coming weeks. Each package weighs 15 kilograms and can feed a family of five for a month, Zelenskiy said.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to establish contacts with the new Syrian government.
Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reportedthat Ukraine is working in detail on a proposal to support Syria's food security and help its people.
