Zelensky expects to sign a law to support participants of the operation in Kursk region: explanation on payments

President Zelenskyy commented on the adoption of the law on social protection of the military taking part in hostilities in Russia. He assured that all payments and awards will be extended to them from the first day of the operation.
Commenting on the adoption of a bill on social protection of the military carrying out Ukrainian defense operations in the Russian border area, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that all payments, bonuses, and awards will definitely be extended to them from the first day of the operation. He said this in a video message on Tuesday, UNN reports.
Zelensky noted the work of the Verkhovna Rada today.
Today, a law has been passed to support our soldiers who are carrying out our defense operations in the Russian border area. All payments, bonuses and awards will definitely be extended to them from the first day of the operation. I am waiting for the documents from the Parliament

The Verkhovna Rada voted in favor of the draft law on social protection of Ukrainian military personnel participating in combat operations in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Zelenskiy reported on August 19 that Ukrainian forces control more than 1,250 square kilometers of enemy territory and 92 settlements in the Kursk region.
