On the Day of the National Guard, President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded the rank of Brigadier General to Colonel Anton Verkhovenko and Colonel Valentyn Ostryzhny. This is stated on the website of the head of state, writes UNN.
To award the military rank of Brigadier General to Colonel Anton Anatoliyovych Verkhovenko, the head of the Eastern Kharkiv Territorial Department of the National Guard of Ukraine
The President also awarded the military rank of Brigadier General to Colonel Valentyn Viktorovych Ostryzhny, the director of the personnel department of the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine.

March 26 is the Day of the National Guard of Ukraine.
