During the first day of the Winter support program, more than 2.5 million applications for receiving UAH 1,000 of assistance were received. The majority of applicants are women (64%), and 551 thousand applications for payments to children were also submitted.

According to Fedorov, 2,500,000+ applications per day is an absolute record for digital services. "Winter support has become the most popular online service in the world. Of this number, more than 551 thousand applications were submitted for children. The majority of users are women (64%), while men make up 36%. The average age of those who used the program is between 30 and 40 years.
"Superloads, by the way, withstood, the action works stably. Work on errors after the national selection was carried out, " Fedorov added.

The Winter support program is designed for all Ukrainians who are on the territory of Ukraine, with the exception of temporarily occupied territories. Assistance is also provided to children. The funds can be used to pay for utilities, buy medicines, books, medical services, as well as for transport, education, mobile communications, or charity. In addition, Ukrainians can send the funds received to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine through charitable foundations.
when and how to get paid?
The Program will run from December 2024 to February 2025. Applications for participation in the program are accepted through three main channels:
- Action: submission of applications started on December 1, 2024.
- Ukrposhta: receiving funds will begin on December 4 for pensioners and other categories who receive social payments through Ukrposhta.
- Partner banks: applications will be accepted from December 10.
How do I apply via "Action"?
1.update or install the Diya mobile app.
2.in the "services" section, select "Winter support".
3. read the program terms and conditions and select the recipient (for yourself or your child).
4. Select the card to transfer funds to. If you don't have a suitable card, you can apply for it at one of the partner banks.
5. Confirm your details and submit your application. Funds will be credited to the card within 10 business days.

Starting from December 10, the application can be submitted at the branch of partner banks. This applies to citizens who do not enjoy "action" or have a special status (for example, due to religious beliefs or age). To do this, you must provide a passport, RNOCPP, birth certificate (for children) or documents confirming custody.

Payment via Ukrposhta will be automatically credited to pensioners, people with disabilities and other categories who receive social payments through this institution. Ukrposhta employees will inform about the accrual of benefits when paying pensions or social assistance.
The funds received through Ukrposhta must be used before February 28, 2025, and payments to cards – until December 31, 2025.
