The President of Ukraine confirmed the successful operation in Novorossiysk, during which Russian ships were hit. He said that long-range sanctions would continue to be used to push Russia toward peace.

The President added that among the results of the operation, it is important to note the damage inflicted on Russian fleet vessels that were hiding in Novorossiysk Bay.
In particular, according to verified data, the frigates "Admiral Essen" and "Admiral Makarov", a large landing ship, a corvette and other vessels. Other Russian facilities involved in financing the war were also hit. It is entirely just that Ukraine responds to Russia's war, and it is Russia that can and must end this war
The Head of State added that "we will also urge Russia toward peace through the further use of our long-range and medium-range sanctions".
