Unmanned systems forces "hunted down" a rare enemy drone "Forpost-R" over the Kursk region

Ukrainian pilots on July 27, 2026 destroyed a heavy strike-reconnaissance UAV Forpost-R at an altitude of 4300 m. This is the sixth confirmed trophy of this type since the start of the full-scale war.
The Unmanned Systems Forces hunted down and shot down the "Forpost-R," a heavy, expensive combat-reconnaissance UAV, a carrier of guided munitions. This was reported by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert "Madjar" Brovdi, as reported by UNN.
A carrier of KAB-20 laser-guided aerial bombs was detected and destroyed on July 27, 2026, by pilots of the 7th battalion of the Topota 414th separate brigade "Madjar's Birds" over the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, using the Ukrainian interceptor "Chaklun-KM" at an altitude of 4300 m

According to him, this is a rare trophy, the sixth confirmed hunted down during the full-scale war, the second on the account of the 414th separate brigade "Madjar's Birds" (the first was in April 2025).
