Starting December 1, Ukraine is expanding the project of "transparent exams" for obtaining a driver's license to all regions. Exams will be held exclusively in service centers that have joined the project.

Starting from December 1, the a pilot project to ensure transparent exams for obtaining a driver's license. This was reported by the press service of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, UNN reports.

Starting December 1, in Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Volyn, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv regions, theoretical and practical driving exams will be possible only in the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that have joined the pilot project.

Other service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue to provide services for registration, re-registration and deregistration of vehicles, exchange and issuance of national and international driving licenses.

Six months ago, a project to pass transparent exams of transparent exams was launched in Lviv, Kyiv, Odesa, and Vinnytsia regions. Then it was expanded to other regions (total 12).

Based on the results of of the project, there are already finalized results of the average performance of of driver candidates. Only 24% of candidates passed the theoretical exam on the first try. of candidates passed the theoretical exam on the first try, and 35% passed the practical exam. These figures indicate poor preparation of future drivers. of future drivers, the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes.

Service centers The MIA service centers that take the exams are equipped with video cameras with audio recording, which record sound and leave no blind spots. This eliminates the possibility of interference with the exam and and receiving tips from unauthorized persons.

Service in the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs takes place by prior e-appointment: theoretical exam in 14 days, and the practical exam in 21 days. Registration is also available through the terminal in the the premises of the MIA service centers. Coupons are generated three days in advance.

To pass the theory test, you need to answer 20 questions in 20 minutes. During the test two mistakes are allowed, if there are more mistakes, the exam is not passed. The next attempt will be available no earlier than 10 days later.
