"Ukrnafta increases daily debit at two wells by 80 tons
Kyiv • UNN
"Ukrnafta increased daily oil production by more than 80 tons due to geological and technical measures, including workovers and digital modeling, which allowed the company to reassess hydrocarbon reserves and optimize well operations.
PJSC Ukrnafta has increased oil production by more than 80 tons per day as a result of two successful geological and technical activities at its wells. This was reported by UNN with reference to the company's press service.

In particular, the field in the northeast underwent a workover, which was preceded by the creation of a digital geological and technological model. This allowed Ukrnafta's specialists to estimate current hydrocarbon reserves, create a hydrodynamic model and plan further field development strategy.
Following the analysis, recommendations were made to transfer wells to horizons with undrained oil reserves as part of the main production growth strategy
It is noted that carried out a workover of the well based on the prepared materials. First, geophysical surveys are needed to make sure that there is a resource in the planned horizons.

The specialists then disconnected the lower horizon, whose deposits had already been depleted.
Next, they perforated the upper horizon at a depth of 4633-4638 meters. After completion, the well started flowing. Currently, the flow rate is more than 60 tons per day. The well is now on line and producing 28 tons of oil per day.
Addendum
In addition, in western Ukraine, Ukrnafta employees performed acid fracking at one of its facilities, which was the first time such work was carried out at this field.
The well is now back on line and producing 28 tons of oil per day
It is noted that before the work was carried out, the debit at this well was 7-9 tons per day.
As a result, the measures taken allowed to increase daily oil production by more than 80 tons per day.
