Malaysia Airlines Flight 17

FBI agents searched the home of John Bolton, former national security adviser, in a Washington suburb. The search was conducted as part of an investigation into the possible disclosure of classified information.

The King of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar, will make his first state visit to Russia from August 5 to 10 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The visit will strengthen ties and expand cooperation in trade, education, and technology.

The European Court of Human Rights will announce its decision on July 9 in the case "Ukraine and the Netherlands v. the Russian Federation". The case concerns systemic human rights violations in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the downing of flight MH17.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has declared his distrust of Putin, citing lies about Russia's involvement in the MH17 disaster. Rutte also reaffirmed the Alliance's support for Ukraine on its path to NATO membership.

The long-awaited decision of the international court regarding the downing of passenger flight MH17 and a number of Russia's crimes against humanity in Donbas will be announced by the ECHR on July 9. The case is called "Ukraine and the Netherlands v. Russian Federation".
