Despite the ongoing war, Ukrainian farmers sowed 128.1 thousand hectares of grain and legumes in 14 regions of the country.
Ukrainian farmers have sown more than 128 thousand hectares of grain and legumes. This was reported by the Press Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, UNN reports.

Despite the ongoing war, Ukrainian farmers continue to fight for the food security of the nation.
Thus, according to the information, 14 regions of the country have already sown 128.1 thousand hectares of grain and legumes. Of these, 12.9 thousand hectares of wheat, 69.6 thousand hectares of barley, 41.5 thousand hectares of peas and 3.7 thousand hectares of oats.
Farmers in Odesa region were the most active in sowing, planting a total of 43 thousand hectares. Other regions with high performance were Mykolaiv, Ternopil, Dnipro, Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi.

Despite the difficult situation, farmers in Donetsk Oblast are also planning to plant 337 thousand hectares of land this year. In particular, 170.5 thousand hectares will be planted with grain crops, 137 thousand hectares with industrial crops, 22.5 thousand hectares with melons and potatoes, and 7 thousand hectares with fodder crops.
